San Diego, CA | Old Town Tequila Factory Restaurant & Cantina (OTTF) kicked-off its 2021 Annual Charity Event sponsor/support services Wednesday, March 3, 2021. This dinner meeting of principles, signals the 5th straight year that the OTTF has graciously served their delicious Breakfast Burritos to participants of local San Diego and Imperial County charities along with hotel accommodations and gift certificates.
William H. McWethy of Pacific Hospitality Group (owner/operator of Old Town Tequila Factory Restaurant and the Hacienda Hotel) and Scott Sebright, OTTF’s General Manager, hosted Randy Jones, former San Diego Padres Great and namesake of The Randy Jones Foundation/ Randy Jones Golf Invitational, Duncan L. Hunter Sr., former Congressman and founder of the Wounded Marine Golf Classic and Karl Shelton, Deputy Scout Executive of the San Diego-Imperial Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Along with the charities attending this kick-off dinner, OTTF supports the majority of seasonal events that take place in Old Town from entertainment events like the Cinco de Mayo celebration to the more important cultural events like the Día de los Muertos celebration and the Las Posadas procession. As a culinary host OTTF also has been involved with the Mission San Diego de Alcala and its Taste of the Mission event and the Cabrillo National Monument Association at the Cabrillo Under the Stars event for several years.
Sebright said: “We at OTTF take pride in being a positive influence in our local Old Town community and beyond. We often team-up with our parent company Pacific Hospitality Group to provide on-site food service, hotel accommodations, receptions, prize and promotional gift certificate donations. We are constantly looking for opportunities to serve our fellow San Diegans by partnering with organizations and charities that provide much needed funds and services to our community.”
